Method #1. Use Chrome browser to make QR codes

A simple QR code is an ideal option for transferring large website URLs. Fortunately, Google Chrome has a QR code generator. It’s completely free and really simple to use.

Open Google Chrome on your iPhone or Mac.
Go to the website.
Select the Create A QR Code option after clicking the Share icon.
Tap Share on your iPhone to transmit or save the file.
Click Download on your Mac, and you can now share it with anyone.

Method #2. Create a QR code using the Shortcuts app

Although the iPhone, iPad, or Mac do not include an Apple QR code generator, you can use the built-in Shortcuts programme.

Start the Shortcuts app.
Click the + sign at the top.
Make a shortcut called QR code generator and give it an icon.
Now, in the Search bar below, type Ask.
Choose the option Ask for input from the results.
Then, look for QR and select the Generate QR code option.
Finally, type Share into the search box and select the first result.
That’s it! Make a note of the shortcut for future use.

Method #3. Make a QR code using third-party apps

I recommend using third-party programmes or websites to generate QR codes for purposes other than text. They provide a simple QR-generating process with numerous customization possibilities.

It may help you save your contact information or website links, or it may let you create a unique QR code to receive payments online. For example, you can share Wi-Fi passwords by QR code, and everyone simply opens the camera on their phone and scans the code.

Go to My Codes and select the + sign at the top.
It will now display a list of several types of QR codes. Choose which one you want.
