It is suggested that you backup your device before downloading and installing the beta profile. If you chose to downgrade to macOS Monterey, your data will be protected.

  1. Navigate to beta.apple.com.
  2. To enrol, click Sign up or Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
  3. Scroll down to the Enroll your Mac section after selecting the macOS tab.
  4. Click Download and install the macOS Public Beta Access Utility.
  5. To begin the download, click Allow.
  6. Open the Downloads folder or the folder where the files were downloaded.
  7. Launch macOSPublicBetaAccessUtility.dmg.
  8. To launch the installation, double-click macOSPublicBetaAccessUtility.pkg and follow the on-screen instructions.
  9. You may now be prompted to do a Time Machine backup; if you have already done so, click OK Continue.
  10. Continue once more.
  11. By selecting Agree, you agree to read and accept Apple’s software licence agreement.
  12. Then, select Install.
  13. Enter your Mac’s password and then choose Install Software.
  14. When the download is finished and the screen that says “installation was successful” appears, click Close.
  15. A software update box will now appear; select Upgrade Now.

  1. An installation window should appear automatically; click Continue.
  2. To accept the terms and conditions, click Agree.

  4. Select the drive/partition where you want to install the beta and press the Continue button.

  6. If the Mac does not restart automatically, click Restart.
