Method #1. By using iPhone or Android
- On your device, launch the Instagram app.
- Tap the profile icon in the lower left corner.
- Tap the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner.
- Go to Settings -> Privacy.
- Select Activity status.
- Turn it off. Display your active status.
Method #2. By using Browser to hide your active status
Open Instagram on your browser and tap the profile icon.
Navigate to the Settings menu.
From the left sidebar, select Privacy and security.
To hide your profile, uncheck the Show Active Status box under Active Status.
