How to use Launchpad on your Mac? Apps, whether pre-installed or downloaded, make life easier and workflows more efficient. Apple has made Launchpad a key element of macOS to make things run more smoothly. Launchpad is the greatest place to see, access, and manage all of our apps.

What is Launchpad?

A launchpad is any site that is specifically created for the launch of new coins, crypto projects, and the raising of liquidity. Launchpads assist investors in discovering early-stage cryptocurrency ideas before they join the mainstream.

Over the years, launchpads relied on human verification systems to determine which projects or tokens to launch, but with the advancement of blockchain and smart contracts, new launchpads are now taking a different and more decentralised approach by building trustless systems through smart contracts that work together to improve the experience of token management for businesses. DXSale is an example of a successful decentralised launchpad.

It is now the largest IDO launchpad on the BSC (Binance Smart Chain) network, with over 12,000 projects launched so far, delivering various services for over 12 Blockchains including Smart Chain, Ethereum, and Polygon, as well as adding new features regularly.

Here is the list of 4 methods to use Launchpad on your Mac:

Method #1. By using Spotlight to use Launchpad on your Mac

If you’ve removed it from the Dock, you can use Spotlight to find and open Launchpad.
If you need to open the programme frequently, simply drag it from Spotlight to the Dock. You can also follow this approach to restore Launchpad to your Mac’s Dock.

Method #2. By using a Trackpad gesture

A specific Trackpad gesture allows you to quickly access Launchpad. Make a pinching gesture on your trackpad using your thumb and three digits. If it does not work, the feature may be turned off.

To make it possible:

  1. Navigate to the Apple menu System Preferences Trackpad.
  2. Select the More Gestures option.
  3. Select Launchpad.

Method #3. By using Keyboard access

You can also use your keyboard to gain faster access to your Launchpad. Launchpad may be launched on older Macs by pressing the F4 key on your keyboard. On newer Macs, however, this key opens Spotlight rather than Launchpad.

  1. Go to the Apple menu and select System Preferences Keyboard.
  2. Select Launchpad & Dock from the left-side window after selecting the Shortcuts tab.
  3. Tick the Show Launchpad box.

Method #4. Launchpad access without clicking

If you truly want to speed up your access to Launchpad, you should try setting up Hot Corners on your Mac. When your cursor lingers over a specific corner, it instantly launches Launchpad.
So there are many methods for launching Launchpad. Closing it is less difficult. Simply click on any empty place or press Esc.
